Your first drop in Ploposaurus
Understand the drop-and-merge loop before chasing a big chain.
Look at the numbered block you are about to place, then look at the columns on the board. Tapping a column drops that block into it. Your first aim is to recognize a matching number and make a deliberate placement, rather than choosing a column without looking at the surrounding board.
Matching numbers merge and double. The important change is not only the larger number: the board arrangement changes as well. Watch the result of the drop before planning the next one. Learning to read that new arrangement makes later placements easier to understand.
For a first session, focus on one clear match at a time. Notice which placements leave room for another useful move and which make your options harder to see. Once you are comfortable with the basic loop, try predicting what happens after the first merge. The full how-to-play page introduces the campaign and the tools available as you explore more of the game.
